Lifestyle being very important, the persona can be very customizable. The way your character looks gives you two main features: pocket size for all the cash and, of course, coolness as a skill. What your character does is entirely up to your imagination. Small crafted or living creatures can be the user’s companions in the paper adventure in which they will never leave the character’s side. They have some characteristics: pocket size, damage and speed. They can receive an attack order and will carry the extra money the user will be making. The pets can find shelter in the Barracks. Paper and cardboard can be surprising and they have never offered so much choice until now via the customization options. The player’s character is adjustable to any preference. It takes you back to your early childhood. One can choose the gender, the weapons, the clothes for every part of its body, most of them independent of the previous gender selection, and various backpacks. One can dress or equip to be able to, technically, go to any world event, festival or war. All the costumes will be available as unlocks, giving the user the extra choice to actually print their own blueprints and craft them manually. The real life models can then be used as tokens for the Squareface: Board Game. Make an everlasting souvenir aka trophy-like paper toy exactly as your favourite character. Among the many costumes the game offers, you can choose to print one or more, that are already available in-game. As much as I want to recommend this game, I can't.The Good:* Unique setting and artstyle, everything is paper and carboard. You're a small paper figure in a human sized environment.* Okay story (as far as I have progressed)* Customizing the looks of your character, you even could print them out (!)* An array of weapons to choose from* Pets* Light tower defence elementsThe Bad:* Clunky mechanics* Weird aiming* Both above make the game more frustrating than hard* You run out of ammo way too fast* As other reviews have said, the ally and pet AI is very bad. The Ugly:* Rare game breaking bugs (stuck UI, allies dieing due to being stuck and stupid AI)Overall it's decent, but heavily lacks polish. Looking at the age of the game, there probably won't be any more bugfixes/changes.If you still want to buy it, grab it only on a sale with at least 50% discount.. Fun and creative game. Cool graphics. Loving it so far.. Poor child's toy story. Some kids have toys to play with, other kids have imagination with which they can make anything possible. Altough I wouldn't say zombies are for kids, this is the best description I can come up with. It's an amazing game, it has plenty of content and the asking price is super affordable. Being able to play the "Credits" is cherry on top of the cake.. The game has some weirdness to it with aiming, camera angles and some of the worst music I've ever heard, but other than that I really enjoy it. The art style is really unique, and reminds me a lot of the Army Men games back in the N64 days. The setting really fascinates me as well. I love papercraft in general. And the idea that you're just a bunch of creations of a kid for a school project is awesome.I really don't have any glaring problems to speak of, apart from the music. Taste is subjective, but there is objective problems with the logic behind whether or not combat music should be playing, and the main "nothing is going on" music tends to stop and/or loop in the weirdest places....If the game looks interesting to you I say get it; you won't be sorry.
